We met as freshmen at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, living just a few doors apart on the same dorm floor. In a campus full of thousands, we found each other in the perfect place at the perfect time.

What started as a friendship quickly grew into something more, even if we both initially insisted otherwise. Everyone around us thought we were more than friends long before we admitted it ourselves. One of our favorite memories is a night in Chicago when we went ice skating, had dinner, and wandered the city beneath the holiday lights. It looked a lot like a date, but we kept telling ourselves and everyone else that we were just friends. Now, we laugh about it every year when we return to Chicago after Thanksgiving to relive that magical night - a moment that quietly marked the beginning of our journey together.

Since then, we’ve grown up side by side, moved to new places, and faced life’s challenges hand in hand. Wherever we are together is home - just us and our dog, cat, chinchilla, and two horses. It’s a little wild, full of love, and completely ours.

We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who have been part of our story all along.
